The Book of Kildare: The Complete Collection 2025

Naas Library & Cultural Centre
For the first time, all 80 original pages of The Book of Kildare - an extraordinary masterpiece of artistry and devotion - will be displayed together in this landmark exhibition.
Celebrated for its intricate illuminations, vivid colors, and unparalleled Calligraphy, this 21st-century Irish manuscript has been described as "the work of angels".
Visitors will have the opportunity to explore its rich blend of Celtic artistry and historical significance, taking a journey through the book with "Ancient Kildare", "Brigid of Kildare" and "Kildare Heritage".

The Book of Kildare: The Illumination Pages 2024
Until 3rd February 2024, The new, never-before-seen, Illumination Pages from The Book of Kildare will be on exhibition at Kildare Town Library, Claregate Street, Kildare Town. Josephine will work from the library on Tuesday 30th January and Thursday 1st February and will be available to sign copies of the now published 'The Book of Kildare'.

Running throughout the month of February 2023, The Illumination Pages from The Book of Kildare will be on exhibition at Kildare Town Library, Claregate Street, Kildare Town. Josephine will be giving talks and demonstrations during the month.

The Book of Kildare: The Brigid Pages
1st - 8th February 2023
Féile Bríde is an annual celebration of St. Brigid, Ireland's Matron Saint, takes place in the first week of February. The Brigid pages from The Book of Kildare will be on display at Solas Bhríde Spirituality Centre, Tully Road, Co. Kildare. This exhibition was supported by Kildare County Council and Creative Ireland Bursary Award
