Biography
A lifelong artist, Josephine Hardiman was born in Co. Antrim but grew up in Newbridge, Co. Kildare. Formerly a Primary School Teacher in her home town of Newbridge, Josephine has given private calligraphy and art classes to students of all ages at her Art Studio in Punchestown.

Josephine works in watercolour, pastel and is especially known for her Calligraphy work, some of which has been presented to the last three Presidents of Ireland, President Mary Robinson, President Mary McAleese and current President Michael D. Higgins and, most recently, An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.
Living most of her entire life in her beloved Co. Kildare, Josephine found inspiration in the rich heritage of the area and began the project 'The Book of Kildare' in 2016. Read more about the NOW published, 21st Century Book of Kildare here.
